Direct Deposit is required Social Security card is required Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services. Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems. Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures. Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate. Presents formal and informal training to customers. Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.
Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree with a major in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
OR
Two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree a minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
OR
One (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to demonstrate IT knowledge and skill in: Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services; Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components; Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers; Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests.
HIGHLY QUALIFYING CRITERIA FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST ( CUSTSPT):
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 Professional/Vista/Win 7 Enterprise or with similar software.
2. Possesses Network Plus certification.
3. Working knowledge of Morale Welfare Recreation applications or similar programs.
4. Experience with US Army AGM imaging for PCs.
Experience with interoperability of Servers, Routers and Switches
Conditions of employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check.
4. Successfully complete all required background checks.
5. Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
