Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an Maintenance Work Inspector - diagnose, plan, and inspect construction projects with standard designs and modifications. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To InspectAbility to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading)Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and EquipmentKnowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.Knowledge of MaterialsTechnical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)Use of Measuring Instruments PHYSICAL EFFORT:
The inspector performs work on hard surfaces and in areas that require him/her to stand, stoop, bend, stretch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. He/she frequently lifts and carries parts, equipment, and packed containers that weigh up to 40 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work generally is done inside areas that are well lighted, heated, and ventilated. Must possess a current state driver's license. Occasionally may drive vehicle with standard transmission and/or four (4) wheel drive. The inspector may work outside or in areas that are drafty, hot, and poorly lighted. The work is sometimes dusty, dirty, and greasy. Work is confine, cramped spaces, heights may exceed 20 ft. and remote location. Will be required to use safety equipment such as hard hat, gloves, hearing protections, safety shoes, and respirators. May be required to work overtime. Able to work under pressure of time constraints and heavy workloads. Requires normal color vision, able to distinguish primary colors. He/she is frequently exposed to possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. Government is not required to furnish test equipment and tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
